The classic cars are returning to Grand Marais! Join us as we welcome the Munising Classic Car Club for an evening of food and fun by the bay.
Meteorology meets historic photography for an exciting presentation on the incredible weather of the Upper Peninsula! Karl Bohnak and Jack Deo will share stories that range from Sunburns to Snowstorms, the title of their new book. Free admission. Refreshments will be served. Time to get our snowmobile trails in top shape for the winter! Meet up at the groomer barn on M-77 at 8 a.m. If you have any of the following tools please bring them along: chain saw, limb saw, brush cutters etc. Also wear weather appropriate clothing as this is a rain or shine event. We welcome all who would like to participate and give us a hand. A meal will be provided at the end of the day up at the Groomer Barn. Thanks in advance for helping us out and hope to see you there!!
The Women’s Club is sponsoring another great Cork & Canvas party with Linda Anderson! Join us on October 12 at 5:30 at the Community Center. The Grand Marais Women’s Club invites you to a Community Harvest Dinner on Saturday, October 26. Dinner starts at 5:30pm at the Community Center and everyone is welcome.
Join us at the Erickson Center in Curtis to hear the Grand Marais Community Choir in a gala holiday performance! The show starts at 2:00pm and cookies will be served.
The UP200 sled dog teams are coming back to Grand Marais! Join us on Saturday, February 15, 2020 to welcome the mushers and their four-footed athletes as they arrive at the Grand Marais checkpoint, which is the halfway point of the race. The Women’s Club will have breakfast and lunch available, and the teams will rest here most of the afternoon. Check back for updates!
