*Residents and nonresidents under age 17 may purchase the junior license at reduced price.
A small game license entitles you to hunt rabbit, hare, squirrel, pheasant, mourning dove (with a Michigan dove stamp), ruffed grouse, woodcock, quail, woodchuck, crow, skunk, coyote (applies to Michigan residents only) and waterfowl (with a federal waterfowl stamp and Michigan waterfowl hunting license, if age 16 or older) during the open season.
No license is required for a resident, resident’s spouse or resident’s children to hunt small game on the enclosed farmlands where they live. Exceptions: a federal waterfowl stamp and state waterfowl license are required to hunt waterfowl and a Michigan dove stamp is required to hunt mourning doves.

Hunting in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is permitted but certain areas are restricted. Area closure maps are available at the Grand Marais Ranger Station, or you can contact the Park Superintendent at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Box 40, Munising, MI 49862; 906-387-2607.

Special Season for Disabled Hunters
A person issued a permit to hunt from a standing vehicle may hunt deer on the October 15 and 16, 2005 on private lands with a firearm. Hunters must have a valid firearm, combination deer, or private land antlerless deer license to participate.
